"What other sport not only kept a stat as cruel as the error but posted it on the scoreboard for everyone to see?" - Chad Harbach
The weather was perfect. Our bellies were full from some incredible burgers. We were so excited.

And then the players took to the field.

The Angels played an embarrassing game of baseball. Error after error. Mike Trout tried to showboat and made his center fielder miss what should have been an easy catch. The players swung at balls they never would have hit; let others zoom right passed them while doing their best impressions as bronze statues.

The Angels got destroyed. You could tell they gave up midway through the game. The fans were demoralized.

When I asked my son if he wanted me to get any additional tickets, he suggested we “save our money for an NFL game” instead.

More than anything, it was a game of profressional sports I’d rather forget as soon as possible.

At least I got some pics worth sharing out of the experience.
